La "atípica" boda sevillana - Pepe & Ana
Estoy muy contento de compartir los detalles de la “atípica boda sevillana” que tuve el honor de presenciar y capturar: la boda de Pepe y Ana en Sevilla.
Nada más comenzar la mañana, Pepe me esperaba en el hotel Alfonso XIII para charlar acerca del día que nos esperaba, momento que me sirvió para tomar algunas fotos y disfrutar de una buena taza de café junto a él.
Desde el principio, Pepe y Ana decidieron que su día especial sería algo fuera de lo común. Pues, ambos se prepararon juntos. ¡Sí, juntos! Verlos emocionados y compartiendo risas mientras se ayudaban a vestirse uno al otro con sus trajes de Rocío Peralta y Derby Sevilla fue el comienzo de algo realmente único.
El camino hacia el ayuntamiento de Sevilla (lugar dónde sería la ceremonia) estuvo lleno de paradas por los transeúntes que les hacían fotos y les decían entre “Congratulations” y “Ole” “Ole los guapos”.
Después de recorrer el barrio de St. Cruz y sus calles llegamos a la plaza de San Francisco Javier, dónde los amigos de los novios nos esperaban con una cámara y un micrófono, para entrevistar a cada invitado.
La boda fue oficiada por Antonio Muñoz ex alcalde de Sevilla que nos deleitó junto a dos tenores amigos de los novios unos versos de Luis Cernuda, poeta favorito de la pareja.
Al finalizar la ceremonia, continuamos la ruta de vuelta al Hotel Alfonso XIII, con el recibimiento de todos sus amigos y familiares.
Durante el cocktail en el patio principal sonaba Mariarrosaria D'Aprile en el violín, Jazz de Marras creando una atmósfera muy agradable.
Cuando pasamos al gran salón la sobrina de Ana nos deslumbró con un solo de violín que nos hizo saltar alguna lágrima a los asistentes… Más tarde terminaron todos los amigos en la terraza bajo el atardecer fumando unos buenos puros habanos, regalo de los novios a todos los asistentes.
Quiero agradecer a Pepe y Ana por hacerme partícipe de su gran día y por contar conmigo para documentar momentos tan especiales para ellos.

An Unconventional Seville Wedding: Pepe & Ana
I’m truly delighted to share the story of an “atypical Sevillian wedding” that I had the honor of witnessing and capturing: the unforgettable wedding of Pepe and Ana in Seville.
The day began at the elegant Hotel Alfonso XIII, where Pepe was waiting for me over a cup of coffee. It was the perfect chance to chat about the day ahead and capture some intimate portraits before the celebrations began.
From the very start, Pepe and Ana had decided their wedding would be something out of the ordinary. They got ready together—yes, together! Watching them laugh, help one another, and share those emotions while dressing in their outfits by Rocío Peralta and Derby Sevilla was the beginning of something truly unique.
Their walk towards the Seville City Hall for the ceremony was filled with stops, as passersby couldn’t resist snapping photos and shouting a mix of “Congratulations!” and “¡Olé, olé los guapos!” while the couple made their way through the charming streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood.
When we reached Plaza de San Francisco Javier, friends of the couple were waiting with a camera and microphone, interviewing guests as they arrived. The ceremony itself was officiated by Antonio Muñoz, former mayor of Seville, and beautifully complemented by two tenor friends of the couple, who recited verses by Luis Cernuda, Ana and Pepe’s favorite poet.
After the ceremony, we made our way back to the Hotel Alfonso XIII, where friends and family warmly welcomed the newlyweds.
The cocktail hour in the main courtyard was accompanied by the beautiful violin music of Mariarrosaria D’Aprile and jazz by Jazz de Marras, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Later, as guests entered the grand hall, Ana’s niece performed a solo violin piece that moved everyone to tears.
The evening ended on the terrace at sunset, where friends enjoyed fine Cuban cigars—special gifts from the couple—as they shared laughter and unforgettable memories.
